Hey There

Thanks for being here! I'm Brie, and I'm excited to share my passion for woodworking and the great outdoors with you through my handcrafted products. Each piece is made with love, and I hope you find as much joy in them as I did while creating them!

    Brie's Story

Brie, born in October 1994, started her journey as a shy but eager child, always keen to dive into activities that sparked her interest. She embraced her love for the outdoors early on, joining a softball league and exploring nature through hikes with her Girl Guide troop.

At 17, she embarked on an unforgettable experience with the Ontario Rangers Program, spending a transformative summer working for the Ministry of Natural Resources at Moose Lake. This experience ignited her passion for nature and set the stage for years of balancing her education with seasonal work at provincial parks across Ontario.

Brie achieved a degree in Theatre Arts, but when the path forward seemed uncertain, she pivoted to cabinetry making, a craft that resonated deeply with her (her degree would come into play again later). After earning her Red Seal in the trade, she honed her skills across various cabinetry and woodworking positions, immersing herself in every opportunity to learn and perfect her craft.

Brie, being apart of the Patterson family, experienced a devastating loss. Losing her mom left her feeling lost and unknowing what her next life chapter would look like. And, just like the rest of the Patterson clan, she only grew stronger and stronger, helping her father and sister when they were low, while being held up by them when she struggled.

Now, Brie is charting a new course, finally able to see the next chapter of her life. She has returned to school, teachers college, now aiming to become a high school shop teacher. Her goal is to inspire the next generation, particularly young women, to explore careers in trades that have traditionally been male-dominated. Brie is passionate about breaking barriers, showing students that they can achieve anything, by leading by example as a successful women thriving in these roles.

Despite her busy schedule with school and work, Brie finds time to stay active, enjoying hikes with her partner, Alex. In her creative moments, she blends her love for cabinetry with artistic expression, crafting beautiful frames, wood-burned art, and other projects that bring her joy and satisfaction.
